HOW LONG HAVE THEY DONE IT?
Originally formed in 2003 by Joe Refano, reformed in 2008 again in 2014 and once again in 2021. So many great musicians have blessed THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE over the years.

Freddy Giovanelli, vocals and bass, Rich Tancredi, keyboards and Gil McClean, vocals and bass. THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE has brought together veterans of the New York Music Scene with a combined musical experience of over 200 years between them!

THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE has been delighting audiences of all ages with their fun performances since 2003. Over the years they have played many thousands of shows at a wide variety of venues. from Corporate events; theaters; dinner shows; casinos; town events; festivals to public libraries; (they even do weddings and private parties too!) HOW DO THEY DO IT?
THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE can do different shows depending on your specific needs.
The first option is just the four lads doing the EARLY BEATLE material. We also offer LIVERPOOL2, a duet by Joe Refano and Jamie Bateman with lots of Beatle Music and a lot more! Another option is a 5 piece setup where Andrew Lubman becomes a one man orchestra and Dave Clark takes up the bass. The five man version then performs music from the SARGENT PEPPER era (in costume), plus other music from the later period 1968-70. The 5 man setup is now also offering THE JOHN LENNON SHOW featuring music from his solo career as well as Beatle favorites.
THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE can provide backline, sound equipment and a soundman should your venue require these services, at an additional cost.

LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE FUN FACTS
The members of THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE are all avowed BEATLEMANIACS and it shows! Joe Ref saw The Beatles at Shea Stadium in August of 1966 and over the years has toured with Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits, performed with Micky Dolenz of the Monkees and most recently as musical director for British Invasion icon BillyJ. Kramer. Andrew Lubman was handed his diploma from Berklee College of Music in Boston by Sir George Martin. He has performed with Tony Kishman’s Paul McCartney show and Wondersous Stories. Jamie Bateman’s family is from Liverpool… has subbed as George Harrison with Strawberry Fields and is a fifth cousin to Ringo!. Brian James has provided his distinctive drumming and great voice for numerous BEATLE bands for many years. Former bassist and vocalist Freddy G worked for Sir Paul McCartney. Former Keyboard master Rich Tancredi performed on numerous Gold and Platinum albums by many music icons from Taylor Dane to Celine Dion; from Hall and Oats to Aja.

Beatle music is the greatest popular music catalogue in history and THE LIVERPOOL SHUFFLE attempts to perform the music the way they did…providing a LIVE BEATLE SHOW with the emphasis on faithfully recreating THE MUSIC. No tricks, no tracks, nothing pre-recorded. They play and sing the music LIVE.

Is the President, Composer and Producer at MEDIA MECHANIX since 1985 with collaborator and partner Paul H. Brokaw. They produce Video for Business, TV & Radio commercials, Jingles and Original Music. Jamie Bateman - Vocals - Guitars, Harmonica
Has been a popular musician on the New York Music scene for 30 years with LATE NIGHT AUDIO, THE BACKTRACKS and other groups
Subbed as George Harrison with Beatle Tribute STRAWBERRY FIELDS
Jamie's parents are from Liverpool and he still has family there.
Jamie is 5th cousins with Sir Ringo Starr!

Brian James - Vocals -Drums
Has been performing on the Beatle Tribute circuit throughout the NY Tri-state area for many years.
He’s got that “Ringo” swing and has a great singing voice as well!

Andrew Lubman - Vocals - Bass - Guitar - Keyboards
Played with numerous Beatle tribute bands, including Bubble, Beatlestock, Live and Let Die, Mostly Moptop, and his own band, The Blast.
When the band goes to 5 piece for Sergeant Pepper and later material. Andrew becomes the one man orchestra.
Graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music (and was handed his diploma by Beatles’ record producer George Martin at the graduation ceremony!)
Known as “AllYouNeedIsLub” on YouTube, with his highly acclaimed note-for-note videos of many Beatles classics, such as “When I’m Sixty-Four”, “Because”, “Birthday”, “Michelle”, “Oh! Darling” and more
Multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter whose work can be heard on radio jingles and online media
Dave Clark - Bass - Vocals
Dave can be considered a British rock specialist on bass and vocals. He’s performed with The Stones Tribute STREET FIGHTER, Yardbirds guitarist GODFREY TOWNSEND and The Who Tribute EMINENCE FRONT
Has also performed with many notable Long Island bands including WONDEROUS STORIES.

Dave’s Mom Eileen was a huge BEATLE fan and got Dave on the path to The Liverpool Shuffle!
Gil Mclean - Vocals -Bass
Gil had a rough job stepping into Freddy G’s shoes but he did lots of shows with us and performed quite admirably. Thanks Gil!
Has also performed with notable Long Island Irish and Country bands.
IN MEMORIAM - RIP - Freddy G (Giovanelli) - Vocals-Bass - 2014-2021
We are saddened by the loss of our dear brother Freddy G on February 4th, 2021
Worked as Sir Paul McCartney's guitar tech and road crew member from 1988-1991 and was personal friends with Sir Paul, Paul “Wix” Wickens and the band members
Subbed as Paul McCartney with Beatle Tribute STRAWBERRY FIELDS
Was the leader of the popular Beatle Tribute ALL TOGETHER NOW
Was a guitar and musical tech expert with Sam Ash parent company SAMSON for many years and ran the company's EBAY services.
He played at The Cavern Club in Liverpool 1998, 1999, 2000 with THE REMNANTS.
